Merry Monday #45 - reindeer with lights from WSD

Happy Easter everyone!

We just came back from my parents house and I'm stuffed like a turkey on Thanksgiving Day..LOL!! but we had lamb..LOL!!

I made a card this week, but I haven't had the time to enter it yet. I love to play with Always Playing with Paper and this week their Merry Monday #45 is a bingo challenge,

Here's my card!

Here is a closer look at the cute reindeer, he's from Whipper Snapper Designs. I bought a whole bunch of stamps a while ago and I am so glad that I pulled one out. I colored him with my copics of course!

I also had this great sentiment, also a stamp, I used versamark ink and embossed it with red embossing powder.

Here is the Bingo from Merry Monday #55, I used the animal/die cuts/red row. Die cuts were used for the sentiment and the smaller tabs next to it. The reindeer is the animal and well I used lots of red.

For this card, I also added some mini brads from American Crafts and used stickles for the trim of his hat. I also added glossy accents to the Xmas lights.

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:
Always Playing with Paper, Merry Monday #55, Bingo (oh pooey..I didn't make it in time to enter)
Catch the Bug, anything goes with card stock and bling

Kraftin' Kimmie - Caroline, mom to be

It's Wednesday, and we are that much closer to the Easter holidays!!

I don't know about you but Easter for us is just as big as Christmas!! I was brought up Catholic and even with all of the things the Church has gone through I still have a strong belief in God! I think that everyone should believe in something!

Now totally unrelated to Easter..LOL..today I want to share with you a lovely stamp from Kraftin'Kimmies, her name is Caroline, here is my card:

I know someone who is pregnant and thought of her when I was making this. It's cheery and beautiful like her!

Here is a closer look at the image and copic coloring of her hair and skin:

I followed this sketch from The Sweet Shop:

SSS203

For this card I kept it real simple, I paper pieced her dress because it was a big enough surface, I embossed the solid color for some texture and dimension and I added the ribbon for a pop of color. I used a die for the sentiment but not for the image. I just used my CM corner punch to round out the corners. I also added a brad from Eyelit Outlet for the bow.

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:
The Sweet Shop, SSS203, sketch
Through the Craft Room Door, Anything goes
Sassy Studio Designs, DTBST #169, paper piecing
Die Cuttin' Divas, #108 embossing with ribbon

The cute little digi from Deary Dolls Digis, it was a freebie a while ago. I also added a cupcake because that's the theme of his party and the colors are as well (blue/orange/brown). The cupcake is a Bugaboo image called cupcaketag. It's a tag image (there's a sentiment around it forming a circle) but I cut out the cupcake for this card.

For this card I used a scallop circle die and a square die. I added ribbon, a button and some mini dew drops. I punched out the senmtiment with my circle punch from CM. I also colored the image with my copics, of course!!

Hello everyone,

Hope you've enjoyed the first part of your weekend!

I, of course, managed to squeezed in some time for crafting. I did some coloring and then 2 cards. Here is one of them:

This is the first time I made the focus of the card the background paper, I just loved the pattern and I know that my sister-in-law will love it. This card will be given to her by my mom or cousin, I'm making a few for them to choose from.

For this card I was excited to use the yellow checkered flowers. I just got them for a steal at a Dollarama near my house, they came in a few colors too, so much fun!! I also used 2 different circle dies, some gems and stickles here and there. I love the way it came out!!

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Confirmation cards

Hello again,

Here are the confirmation cards I promised you...

Obviously I used my Cross die from Spellbinders again, I just love the many ways I used it, it was a lot of fun!! The last one is a boy named Chester from Poodles Parlour, I bought a whole bunch of digis before they closed, he's so adorable!!

For the cards above I used dew drops, brads, dove brads too!! Ribbon and some distresses inks here and there!

I just notived that I didn't add my name on some of them, oh well, again not a lot of time to get that done with all the crafting I did. Some of these cards are already sold and others my haridresser is showing to her clients who will for sure be in need of some.

Hope you liked what you saw!!
