Bugaboo Birthday Ladybug

Hello again,

I know, back so soon you say?  LOL!!

Well it's another gloomy day here in Montreal but not for much longer. They are announcing great weather for at least the next 4 days..YAY..pool time here we come!! It's bitter sweet becuase I love to craft but you must understand our summers here are sooo short that we must take advantage of every minute we can spend outside!!

I'm back with another birthday card for my MIL today, why you may ask?  Well my older son didn't like the vintage lady, well he liked it but not for his grandma, he said it wasn't birthday enough..LOL!! He wanted this ladybug birthday digi from Bugaboo instead, so here it is:

I bought this Bugaboo image a while ago and have yet to use it so of course I was more than OK with making another card for my MIL why not right!! :))) Anyway she deserves it, she is the BEST!!!

I didn't use any sketch this time, but I did use my brand new nestabilites, the one from yesterday is new too, aren't they just AMAZING!! So pretty, you don't really need to embellish much, but of course I can't help myself..LOL!!

I will be entering the following challenges:
Bearly Mine Challenges, #41 anything goes
Party Time Tuesday, #74 anything goes
Clear it Out Challenge, 2 or more ribbons, any theme
Jackson's Digital Expressions, Anything goes
Tiddly Inks Challenge, #89 pretty in pink

Thanks for stopping by, I hope to see you real soon!

Have a WONDERFUL weekend, and Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadian bloggers!!

Vintage Lady - Bonne FĂȘte

Hello everyone,

Yes it's been a long time since my last post, 12 days to be exact. I've missed crafting so much but we had extremely nice weather here in Montreal so being outside was my first priority. My 8 and 4 year old boys wanted to be in the pool and of course so did Mom and Dad. Plus I have a big circle of friends and family who pop by to use the pool as well..LOL..of course I welcome it, the more the merrier!!

Today I crafted because it was chilly and rainy, perfect weather to craft!! My inspiration was my mother-in-law. It's her birthday on Saturday. She wasn't here for her 60th (they go to Portugal for 4mths every year) so we're having a big BBQ to celebrate her 62nd birthday this weekend and of course I needed to make her a very special card.

To do that I used a great sketch and some other great ideas from fabulous blogs.

Here it my creation:

Isn't it gorgeous? I just love it and I know my MIL will too!! I know I've already used this image and trust me when I say I do not have a shortage of them..LOL!! but I just thought this would be perfect for my MIL!!

The sketch I used is from The Crazy Challenge blog, I just fell in love with this sketch!!

I am entering the following FABULOUS challenges:
The Crazy Challenge, CCH#123 sketch
Anything goes Challenge, Polka dots with Birthday Theme (b-day in french)
Pile it on Challenge,  #26 make your own embellishment (I made the flowers)
Little Miss Muffet, Loads of layers
Jacksons Digital Impressions, anything goes
Tammy Scrapin Corner, anything goes

I hope to see you again, sooner rather than later..LOL!!

Good night

Ashlee's Prom - SSD

I'm back!!!  :)))

It's been a week since my last post, wow time flies!!

Today I am back with another graduation card. I used my freebie from Sassy Studio Designs, Ashlee's Prom, check her out!!

I just love the way this card turned out! I bought stamps from The Craft's Meow and finally used one, it's the grad hat. It's shiny because I embossed it, if you look closely it says "grad" on it. I also used Stickles on my hearts in the background  and on her bow and sash, part of the SSD challenge I'm entering.

To make this card I of course had great inspiration from this sketch from Die Cuttin Diva's and I followed a Tic Tac Toe challenge from Digi Darla Designs.

I did the diagonal TicTacToe, Ribbon, Gems and Embossing.

I entered the following challenges with this card:
Die Cuttin Diva's, challenge #68 sketch
Digi Darla Designs, DDC#14 TicTacToe challenge
Tammy Scrappin Corner, Challenge #13 for the girls (I think this is very girlie)
Jackson's Digital Expression, anything goes
Sassy Studio Designs, Dare to be Sassy Thursday challenge, aka..DTBST, use something wet, I used stickles.

Thanks for visiting, I will be back with another creation real soon!

Ciao for now ;)

Happy 1st Father's Day

Hello there!!

WOW I can't believe a week has gone by!!! I've been very busy with so many things, mostly spending time with family. We had a small get together this past weekend for my nephew who is turning 2 on June 8th, that was so much fun and he was so excited to see my Handy Manny cards that I showed you last week. "HOP UP" he says..LOL!!

This week I had to make my cousin a card for her hubby. They just had a baby girl in March (the one I spoke a lot about, baby GIADA) and this will be his first Father's Day. He is an electrician, this is what I created!!!

I think it's fits the person it's made for perfectly, he has a great sense of humor.

I also used the same idea for my father-in-laws card, just made the sentiment in French and used a fabulous Digi from Bugaboo Stamps.

For the above cards I used the color inspiration from Dynamic Duos DD#5
and a sketch from Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge WMSC100.
WMSC100

I'm entering the following challenges:
Dynamic Duos, DD#5 Real red and Island Indigo
Cards for Men, Challenge 12, Father's Day
Love to Create, Challange 18, Father's Day

I had so much fun creating these cards, especially when I know who they are going too!!

Have a  great week everyone, hope to see you soon. And thanks again for stopping by!!
